The Hunting

We pride ourselves on the quality of our game. All exotics are silver medal caliber and above. Most are gold medal. We run a limited number of hunts per year, thus we have a high success rate on our trophy caliber animals. Sixteen different species of exotic animals are on the ranch and most other exotic animals can be found on our partnering ranch. The whitetail herd is very healthy with superior South Texas genetics. You can hunt native game during the appropriate seasons, and hunt the exotics year-round. We are in the middle of some of the best dove hunting country in Texas and we maintain over 100 acres of dove fields. The river bottom is loaded with hogs. At one time the ranch was used to ship huge Poland China hogs via rail. Some of those genetics are still on the ranch. The river also comes in handy during duck season.

Hunting will be conducted in a manner conducive to that of the hunter's desires and/or needs. Stand hunting, still hunting, spot & stalk, safari, rattling, decoys and calling are all effective and will be utilized as the guides see fit for any particular situation.

Modern centerfire rifles, archery equipment, handguns and blackpowder guns are all acceptable for harvesting game while at the ranch.
