The Lodging

The main lodge was the namesake of Hacienda, Texas. Built in 1885, the house has 6 bedrooms and bathrooms, 4 fireplaces and is over 6,000 square feet. The lodge was completely restored in 1999 including modern plumbing and central heat & air. The original hardwood floors are still in tact. After a hard day on the river or hunting, relax on the sweeping verandas or one of the patios. There is also a separate 2 bedroom, 2 bath house.

Although a magnificent historic home, this lodge has all modern amenities including a 50" plasma TV, and wireless internet. No matter who your favorite team is you won't miss a game. Each bedroom has its own full bath. Complete with all new upscale furnishings, every attention was paid to the details. Some folks simply enjoy the day's views
from the sweeping verandas just steps away from your bedroom.
